Mike Hansen had a guidance counselor in high school tell him that there is more to life than just using your voice…..to which Mike responded with a fart, saying……”like that?” Never wanting to work a 9-5, Mike’s life journey was defined early; how to get paid for making noise, with his voice or any other orifice!

His first job was when, by a stroke of good luck, he sat down with a Program Director who said his overnight guy just quit, and would he want the job? Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, he said “Hell Yeah”!

Hansen gravitated towards the production room and was doing whatever he could to get his voice out there. Years later, Mike is still that guy making fart noises at totally inappropriate times and you’ll find him doing whatever he can to make his stations sound better than those across the street.

When not in his studio, he’s usually off taking in the California coastline, hitting the road with the top down on his Jeep or trying to find a good show to see that night.
